Artistic Director

Yassaui Mergaliyev

Yassaui Mergaliyev's passion for ballet started early, and he has spent his entire life honing his craft and sharing his talent with the world. His successful career has taken him around the globe, guest dancing with companies in every corner of the world. Mergaliyev's talent has been recognised with many prestigious awards, including the Varna Ballet Competition, where he was the first Kazakh dancer to be awarded the gold medal, and he has received numerous government prizes for his contributions to the arts. His dedication to his craft is an inspiration to all who have had the opportunity to work with him.

Company Manager and Repetiteur

Sophie Mergaliyev

Sophie Mergaliyev is passionate about ballet, dance, and coaching others to become the best dancers they can be. Born and raised in the UK, she studied ballet at Elmhurst Ballet School before embarking on a career as a professional dancer. She has performed with some of the leading ballet companies around the world, such as Royal Swedish Ballet and Croatian National Ballet. Today, she continues to share her love of dance and dedication to the art form through coaching and mentoring young dancers.
